Sellers pay this processing fee once per card-paid order, including bundles. We deduct it from earnings. It is not an extra charge to the buyer.
The calculation is 2.9% of the amount charged to the buyer's card + $0.30, rounded to the nearest cent. The card amount includes items after discounts, Buyer Protection and buyer-paid shipping. A payment from Closet Cash balance reduces the card amount. Balance-only orders have no processing fee.
The listing form shows an estimate. Your order shows the exact fee, its calculation, any free-shipping deduction and your net earnings. Sellers acknowledge this rate before accepting new orders. Existing orders keep their original fees.

If the buyer pays $10 from their balance, the card payment is $23.44, the processing fee is $0.98 and the seller receives $24.02. If the buyer pays entirely from balance, the seller receives $25.00.
Other costs and policies
Buyer Protection is 5% of the item subtotal after discounts + $0.70 per order. Shipping is quoted at checkout. If you offer free shipping, postage is deducted separately from your earnings. Optional premium frames show their purchase price before you buy. Stripe shows any optional instant payout fee before confirmation. Cancelled or fully refunded orders have no available sale earnings; processing is not separately debited from your balance.
This published processing rate stays the same for every card. Closet Cash covers any difference from Stripe's actual transaction cost; international card or other Stripe costs may differ.
